Terus berpacu meningkatkan mutu. Demikian ungkapan yang pas untuk SMKN Baureno. Selain komitmennya melengkapi sarana dan prasanannya, sekolah kejuruan ber plat merah terbesar di Bojonegoro timur tak henti berinovasi dalam meningkatkan kompetensi dan profesioal pendidiknya. Melalui pelatihan dan diklat yang dilaksanakan Badan Nasional Sertifikasi Profesi (BNSP) , LSP P1 SMK N Baureno berangkatkan empat belas guru produktif.
Dalam rangka meningkatkan kualitas dan profesional pendidik, LSP P1 SMKN Baureno mendelegasikan empat belas (14) guru produktif mengikuti diklat dan pelatihan. Kegiatan yang dilaksanakan pada 19 sd 14 Februari di Hotel Hologen Surabaya tersebut membawa berkah tersendiri bagi keluarga besar SMKN Baureno. Pasalnya sebanyak guru yang diberangkatkan semuannya memperoleh sertifikat asesor. Empat belas guru produktif yang diberangkatkan dalam kegiatan itu di antarannya adalah: Ali Suwartini, Yohana Firmania, Dudin Kholiddudin, Happy Chamdan, Moh. Nasrul Huda, M. Fatkhur Rozi, Rizki Trio Hendriawan, M. Isnaini, Muhammad Maslur, Vahdian Adi Pratama, Helmi Yahya Arswenda, Ratri Cahyaning Winedhar, Ainur Rozikin dan Andri Wahyu Kurniawan.
Kegiatan yang diprakarsai oleh Badan Nasional Sertifikasi Profesi (BNSP) ini merupakan salah satu prgram pemerintah demi meningkatkan mutu pendidikan. Teguh Widodo Wurijanto, M.M., Ketua LSP P1 SMK N Baureno mengungkapkan bahwa diberangkatkannya empat belas pendidik dalam mengikuti diklat dan pelatihan ini merupakan salah satu upaya meningkatkan Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) tenaga pendidik, terutama guru bidang produktif. Empat belas asesor baru di SMK N Baureno diharapkan mampu meningkatkan kualitas SMK N Baureno di masa mendatang. Tandasnya.
Dengan suksesya kegiatan tersebut, delapan program studi/ jurusan di SMK N Baureno: Teknik Kendaraan Ringan (TKR), Teknik Bisnis Sepeda motor (TBSM), Multimedia (MM), Desai Pemodelan dan Informasi Bangunan (DPIB), Tata Busana (TB), Teknik Komputer dan Jaringan (TKJ), Teknik Permesinan (TPM) dan Teknik Las (TL). Kini sudah memiliki tenaga ahli bersertifikasi di bidangnya. Kenapa demikian? Jawabannya adalah dari empat belas peserta yang dinobatkan sebagai asesor tersebut merupakan perwakilan dari masing-masing jurusan. Dengan demikian, setiap tahunnya LSP P1 SMK N Baureno dapat melaksanakan Uji Kompetensi bagi siswa dan siswi SMKN Baureno. Kemudian sertifikat yang dikeluarkan LPS P1 SMK N Bureno merupakan sertifikat yang diakui negara.
